From President to Superhero: Andrew Jackson's Benjamin Walker Joins Newest X-Men

Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson’s Benjamin Walker is set rock the X-Men universe in the upcoming franchise prequel, X-Men: First Class, according to Showbizz411.com. Walker will join the previously cast James McAvoy in the Matthew Vaughn (Stardust) directed film aiming for a summer 2011 release. Walker will take on Beast, the role played by current La Cage aux Folles star Kelsey Grammer in the 2006 film X-Men: The Last Stand.

No word yet on if Walker’s commitment to the film, which would last through the end of the year, will jeapordize the much discussed possible Broadway transfer of Jackson next season.
